Gerber Collision & Glass Acquires Two Repair Centers in Sanford and Southern Pines, North Carolina
Chicago, Illinois – May 5, 2021 – The Boyd Group Inc. (the “Boyd Group”) announced the acquisition of two collision repair centers in North Carolina.
These locations operated as Overton Body Shop, founded in 1980 with an opening in Southern Pines followed by the addition of Sanford in 2019. Sanford is the county seat of Lee County and located approximately 40 miles southwest of the state capital Raleigh. This repair center is located on a major highway that runs through North Carolina from the Virginia state line to South Carolina. Southern Pines is approximately 30 miles southwest of Sanford. The repair center is situated between two major highways.
